It takes significant resources to run a statewide campaign. This year Dusty will travel 40,000 miles and visit with tens of thousands of South Dakotans. Billboards, advertising, and yard signs have to be purchased, and they cost money.
Luckily, even small donations can make a difference in a PUC race. Five years ago more than a thousand people stepped up to make an investment in Dusty’s race, and it paid off.
