For the last five years, it has been my pleasure to serve you on the Public Utilities Commission. I know that most people think that telecommunications, electricity, natural gas, pipeline safety, and grain inspection are boring, but those are the things that affect people’s lives every day.
I wouldn’t be at the PUC if it weren’t for the help of literally thousands of people in 2004. Your efforts at working parades, writing checks, and putting up signs made a difference. Thank you.
We’ve accomplished a great deal in the last few years, but there is much more to be done. Please take a minute to let me know what I can be doing better or what you can do to help. With hard work and lots of help, I think I can earn another opportunity to make a difference for South Dakota on Election Day 2010.
